Enatis online website believed to be hacked

During the week of the 4 July 2007 the media reported that the enatis website ( online internet site) was being hacked.

When the Transport department asked to comment about this, what they said was " this is a laughable matter". They claim that Enatis was never hacked and couldn't be hacked becuase its a online system that is only managed by the publishers.

The system used to run the online website is not the same enatis system as used in testing centres or testing stations.

Is getting a driving test booking getting into your nervous

Booking a driving test is frustrating more than ever these days.
Most people are trying to get a booking but it all ends into a non turning road, you try calling the call centre, you try going to the testing centre or even booking through a driving school. But all efforts are vain.

The frustration of getting a booking are at the same time leading to more corruption in the country. If you go around and try different testing centres and nothing comes your way, many resolve into buying or bribing for the licence. Which is illegal!

What to do when you have failed a drivers test more than twice?

There are certain words that any drivers licence applicant doesn't want to hear from an examiner like;

"Please get out of the car and follow me" or
"Sorry, did you see what you just did, please finish off and come to me" or
"Come and see your car at the back" or
"Whooo, stop thats a fail"
"Thats a fail"
"Come back next time, my friend"
"You have just rolled and stalled"
"The test is discontinued"

I have heard some of these words a couple of time and I can assure you, hearing them more than twice, it just discourages you.

We spent too much money on driving lessons and booking confirmation and usage of driving school cars. To the extend that when you hear these words, the whole booking process is repeated in mind and you feel like THAT'S IT"

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it, when an examiner tells you that you have failed. You have failed! It doesn't even matter to them how many times you have done your drivers licence.

There are people who have passed on their first attempt, Good!
And there are those who have passed their drivers licence test on their eighth attempt.

But one thing you never do, is to give in to the game. Keep on trying, it might be worth!

Don't buy driving licence and do not bribe anyone to pass you. Maybe you might have passed on the 99 attempt.

Gauteng to change its number plates

From next year 2008 January, car owners will have to change their current number plates to new ones.

This was said by Ignatius Jacobs, Gauteng MEC for Public Transport, Roads and Works.
The new licence plates will include a barcode, which will let the traffic department get fast access to the car drivers records through a computerised technology. And it will help eliminate car thefts and secure car identification and one that Gauteng province has been struggling about is the false issuing of vehicle documents. 400 Million Rand Enatis License System Goes Wrong

What does Enatis stand for?

Definition of the ENATIS (government upgraded system to bring better service
delivery)

E = Eish

N = Not

A = Available

T = Today

I = I'm

S = Sorry

With the Enatis system operating badly in the country and most of the people who are suppose to get good service form it, are doubting if it was ever a good motive to upgrade the system.

If you thought the Governments Enatis system definition meant effective, working 100%! This is the actual definition of ENATIS (tolled by BJ's driving school)

E = Eish

N = Not

A = Available

T = Today

I = I'm

S = Sorry
